Prof. Dr.-Ing. Lutz Eckstein

Professor Lutz Eckstein is chair of the Institute for Automotive Engineering of RWTH Aachen University. He has been appointed in 2010 after 15 years of work experience in the automotive industry.

Next to his role as professor, Lutz Eckstein became member of the Scientific Advisory Board to the Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport in 2021. Moreover, since 2023 he serves as President of VDI.
